running 110 lb 11x17 cardstock doublesided on a mp c3001 full color?

    hi
i just got a call back from a print guy trying to run 11 by 17 double sided full color on 110 lb card stock.
I didnt see any fusing issued when i was there yesterday and just calibrated and did process control and showed
him how to set up the 2 tray for card stock.
from what i am hearing he is getting random ghousting from the fusing unit.\
is this unit up to 110lb?
i luckily dont deal wth too many print shops trying to perform magic with these copiers so any info is appreciated.
this machine has less than 100k total copies

There is no paper type cardstock. Is it 110# Bond, Offset, Cover, Tag, Index, Points, Caliper, or gsm (grams per meter squared)? Each is # weight is based on a different sheet size, and consequently are totally different paper weights.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

110 cover should run, make sure to set the machine paper tray for that stock, no auto duplex for that. run second side through the bypass, again make sure the bypass is set for that stock. It's not really a very good machine for a print shop.

Make sure that both paper type and paper thickness are set properly. Too many set type to card stock but leave thickness set to Plain Paper. For 110 # thickness needs to be either Thick 3 or Thick 4.
