[Error Code] SC 544 AFICIO MPC3002

Hello everyone, I have a mfp which I found with this code SC544 with the fuser unit in poor condition. Proceed to replace the entire fuser unit with another new one and reset the SC544. But I have not achieved either with the sp5810. Any suggestion, I will be grateful thank you.

I was under the impression that once sc544 had been triggered you had to fit new fuse to fuser unit, This is supplied with a new sleeve assy.

As John says with SC544 you need to replace the fuser sleeve & the quick blow fuse that comes in the box, then you can reset this high temp error with SP5810-02

I have a few spare fuses so I can just fit a new fuse without ordering a new sleeve etc

Unless it was a problem with the sleeve that caused the error.
