Device Counter E-Mail Function
Overview
This is a function to report the device counter to the specified e-mail address periodically at the specified timing.
Setting Procedure
Check that the version of the system/copy firmware is 1.02.1 or later.
User Tools icon> Machine Features > System Settings > Administrators Settings > Firmware Version
Specify the SMTP server settings.
User Tools icon> Machine Features > System Settings > File Transfer > SMTP Server
Specify the administrator’s e-mail address.
User Tools iocn > Machine Features > System Settings > File Transfer > Administrator's Email Address


Set SP5-866-110 to “1” to enable Device Counter E-Mail Function.

In SP5-866-114, specify the date to e-mail the counter value.

Using SP5-866-121 to 123, enter the destination e-mail addresses.
SP5-866-121 for To address
SP5-866-122 for CC address(Delete and enter CC if required)
SP5-866-123 for BCC address (Delete and enter BCC if required


Do SP5-866-112 to perform a test transmission and check that the notification is sent to the specified e-mail addresses.

In SP5-866-113, check whether the next time to e-mail the counter value has been set to the specified date and time.

If you have latest machines GW 9A onwards and latest system controller firmware installed and SMTP is configured then you can get it automated using SP mode.

is a java application that install on client pc with windows task scheduler using snmp to get device info and then email..

Thanks for sending a copy to me.. have tried it on our internal network of machines and it works fine. It mentions 30 day trial?
I have looked on your companys website and it mentions nothing about this product, Is there a charge for this piece of software?

Just 2 remark :
SP5-866-115 : The time must be written in GMT
800 if you want e-mail at 9 PM for time zone +1

SP5-866-112 to perform a test transmission : The test mail will be sent only when you exit SP mode
