Re: Ricoh colour proc 651 line problem
Since the line is in cyan and magenta and not in yellow and black, my guess is the laser unit. There are two separate polygon mirrors on the polygon motor assembly. One is for black and yellow and the other is for cyan and magenta.Comment

"One is for black and yellow and the other is for cyan and magenta."
Y is on the left and K is on the right. Large laserunit.
Make an image on the itb and check if you can see the line. Looks to me like a line from the ptr unit. Black doesn't look good also.Comment

Re: Ricoh colour proc 651 line problem
looks like to me you have issues with ALL colors including black... check the ITB.. make sure you clean contacts for all drums .. belt.. clean laser lens ..
you really should let us know what ALL you have tried to fix the issue ..Comment

Re: Ricoh colour proc 651 line problem
Maybe is not clear from the attachments but the yellow also has the same line.So we have the same line at the same place on cyan, magenta and yellow.what i checked until now is almost everything, lazer, dev units, drum units and transfer belt. The thing that makes me crazy is that the black has no line on it.i am waiting from your experience to understand whats the problem and i have this line to all colours but no at the black, thanks again.Comment

Re: Ricoh colour proc 651 line problem
I'd check the underside of the Cyan PCDU for anything that might be rubbing on the ITB and causing the line.

Re: Ricoh colour proc 651 line problem
measure from the first line down to the next showing of the line.. in the manual it should tell you what component is to blame... the repetitive ruler ( in mm ) is you best tool for repetitive marks in the manualComment
