Mp301 toner same as ???

Does anyone know if the MP3 01 toner bottle is the same as any other bottle ? I have a client with a couple of these and sometimes the toners are a pain in the neck to get one of them and I would think that the toner bottle would be the same as one of their other models as is usually the case with Ricoh

I had a customer put an actual 1170D toner bottle (for a 201) inside a MP301, didn't work out so hot. Things wouldn't close right and the machine of course would not load toner. Easy fix at least.

In a pinch I used the 301 toner in a 201, not the bottle itself but the toner and it worked fine.
and we are using the 201 drums in the 301.

Toner does not match to the drums. It matches to the developer.

I think he was just adding that the MP201 drums (Type 1515pcu) works in the MP301.......So long as you either swap the faceplate, or snap a plastic post off the front of the machine, and in that case, the toner and dev must be all the same.

I have plenty of these machines in the field and have no problem getting the toners. Never use generic toners though, not worth saving a couple of dollars over.

Mp171 toner will work fine in a pinch I discovered
