    ricoh mpc 3003 error SC312.01 problems

    Hi All

    it relates to a problem on blk drum charge. pcr.
    changed these parts and still coming up with code. any ideas???

    i.o.board
    hvp board top back right
    dc psu bottom right
    controller green boards

    the spring connector at back of machine touches the pcr in blk pcdu drum is ok (same as other colours) im getting continuity from that pin to the hvp board back top right.

    pulling my hair out with this one

      In my opinion the only way to be truly be sure if an error related to the PCU is not caused by the PCU itself, is to try another one, and if I'm understanding correctly, you've not done that yet.
      It would have been the 1st thing I swapped before I went on to circuitry

          I agree, you replaced all parts except the most likely item, the black PCDU.

          Also update the firmware,

              Check charge roller case assy these sometimes breaks then one side of charge roller comes away from drum.

                  Hi Guys.

                  i should of put that i changed the pcr then pcdu blk on top off my list. thats the obvious field to go through before pcb changes. i managed to find the fault.
                  It was done to a blown mini transformer on the HVP-CB pcb. I replaced the board. it does the pcr and dev charge for each colours.

                      Damn, I had an MPC306 do this to me yesterday, it was the HV board too.
                      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                      Hit it.
