    block system settings / usertools

    hi

Is it possible to deactivate the settings menu on a smartpanel ex. MPC4504
only when you log in as admin

a bit like adresbook with extended security.

reason: a employer/student can still see ip settings and/or print config page and connect his laptop , install drivers and print without restrictions!

    cheers

If this is a college/school set up user codes for print, this way only users with a code set in the print driver can print and/or copy.

For extra security turn on admin authentication & set a password this stops anyone from changing any machine settings.

If papercut is installed correctly only users with a papercut licence/login should be able to release their print jobs.

The papercut embedded app on the machine will reject any print jobs not authorised from the papercut server.
