[Jamming] MPC 4503 - ardf DF3090 - j16

Hi Everyone!
I have this problem i can't solve. Ardf jams every 5/10 sheets.
Tried to change Roller Ass'y, Board and sensors, firmware df3090 but
it still have trouble. Can someone help me?

DF3090 is problematic from begining. I have the same problem on MPC 2003 and MP3554. The costumer and I accept that I can't do any more else, we have to live with that.

I disagree this is a great DF I have 100's out that I never have issues with!

Have you tried changing the DF buckle settings in SP mode?

Have you tried the newly modified feed assembly (D684-2101)? Ricoh have changed the material for the rollers inside the belt to increase contact with the paper.

I have had many registration sensor jams on these DFs caused by the original feed assembly, and have had no returns since fitting the new one.

I have to agree with Ruben. It's a pretty reliable DF, but like anything mechanical it does have a few quirks.

We don't know what jams you're getting, but one of the weird things I've run into is that the Registration sensor bracket gets bent. I don't know how this happens, but I've seen it on at least 3 machines.

My suggestion would be to check df firmware first. It should be installed Version: 01.330:03. Then you install Mylar if not on df, P/N: D6842314 AD:SEPARATION SUB-UNIT and P/N: D6842313 SHEET:SEPARATION SUB-UNIT.
And check the RTBs for the df3090.

Rough up one-way bearing section of shafts with emery cloth... maybe clean one-way bearings with cloth suck in needle nose pliers
