    SC 540-00 on a brand new MPS 2504ex

    Hi Folks,

    i have a brand new MPC 2504ex who comes with a SC 540-00 but only in the high Quality mod,means the 4.Calibration Chart,or when using
    thick 2-3.
    When the maschine runs in normal mode/speed it works great.

    Any Ideas ?

      Any fusing issue first check the power to the machine. Is it a steady 115-120? The thick mode is going to need a little more juice and could be kicking out the code. We have a few customers right now popping these codes whenever someone turns on their space heater.

          Hello,

          the Power seems to be OK.
          We got 220 V hier in CH.

          Question: Ist there a Possability to adjust the Torque of the Fusing Motor in the SP Mode ?

          It Looks that the Motor losses its Power during the slow passage of the Paper.

          Until now,i changed: Fusing Unit , IOB Transport , IOB Imaging , PCB Image Proc Unit , BCU

          I also updated the Firmware.

          Now i am out of any Ideas ...................

              If its a brand new machine log a ticket with Ricoh under warranty don't waste your time & money!

                  Good morning,

                  after spending hours of hours trying to fix this Sc540-00 i can inform you,that the Drive Unit/Paper Exit Unit ( D2411357 ) or maybe one
                  of the Motors on it was the Problem.

                      Hi Folks,

                      sadly i have to inform you that our Problem Maschine comes again with a SC 540-00 after installation of a

                      SR 3180 Finisher.........................

                      When i fixt the Maschine if done several Hundrets of Copy/Prints in the highest Solution without any Problem.
                      Now with the Finisher,this f.....g Maschine makes me cracy.

                      I think we put this f..k in the Press.
