Hi,
I experienced exactly the same problem: we installed a 2500 controller in a 3000 & the result was the same as yours. Finally after 3 burning brains, 12 hours of hard work and the replacement of every board (bcu, controller, iob, nvram...), I decided to go to copytechnet.com... And the result is that I repared the R59 fuse on the IOB. The code is fixed! Many thanks to Cipher who wrote this solution a few months ago.

Ok, I read almost everything about this. We made the mistake, we swapped a MPC3000 Controller and BCU with a MPC2500 one.
The MPC3000 is working. The MPC2500 is stuck onto SC995.

We tried all the SP mentioned in this thread without any result.
We have also put a new nvram (B230-9590) still error.

Measuring R59 gave a Value (so it's not broken).

Can you give me any other advice to solve this. Order new parts is the last solution!!!

thank you all, I used the cipher method, i was looking for the r59 in the controller. then i noticed to check r59 on the iob.

hi. im having the exact same problem. i cant find the R59 fuse on the IOB. it is the IOB behind the psu?

R59 is on the back of the IOB. Took me forever to find it, but it also not there.

ok i just cleared a sc995 code with the svc mode 5882 on a mpc3000 ! It was on 2 initial was 1, i reset it to one re booted, Problem gone
