    [Misc] SR 3130

I have an MPC3003 with an internal finisher that when stapling the first and last pages are fine, but page 2 and sometimes page 3 exit finisher but do not get pulled back in to staple. I have updated firmware. This does not happen all the time but mostly when stapler 4 or fewer pages.

check the operation of the jogger arms/belts in the finisher. Sounds like they need to cleaned or replaced .

how many prints are on the unit?

    what have you tried?

you never mentioned the model of the finisher... does it kick any error codes?

I repair the internal fin very often in the field with problems like this. First have a look to the reverse and gatherin roller. My personal suggest I would swap the rollers first and clean the internal frame from the staple craps with a magnetic tool. I would lubricate the axle of the staple head with machine oil too.

I will check the belts and rollers. It is odd that it does not happen all of the time.

It was resolved by replacing gathering roller. Did not have many miles on roller but felt like it was wet.
