    Ricoh MPC2011 SC672-11

    Hi Guys

I have a MPC2011 that is coming up with SC672-11

    I have done the following:

    Remove HDD.
    Update Firmware
    Clean DIMMs
    Check wiring and harness.

When opening the front door and connect power cord the machine will start up. The touch panel works but not the hard buttons. Machine is also able to print.

    Any ideas

I had this exact same issue. SC672-11 is a communication fault between the ops panel & controller.

I replaced the harness this resolved my issue.

This code is a bit of a nightmare, as a faulty fax unit as well as buggy firmware can also cause this. especially the power saving firmware went through a dodgy patch where the machine would code coming out of sleep mode.

This thread is over 3 years old. It was dead and buried and you dug it out of its grave.

If you have a problem, start a new thread, grave robber.
