    Hi,

    MPC2011 - D237 - Met-C1k
installed 4 month ago, total counter about 1k

no color printout, SC362-02 and SC491-00 when start to print in color
black printout is allowed without any problems

all cyan developer are transferred to the waste bottle and the drum is damaged

I did not find any Bulletin for such a case

Someone has also encountered with a such problem ?

hi, interesting problem, there is a similar problem with yellow to a dealer our friend who is trying to solve it, I have not yet seen but I suggested to replace only the pcu, since he told me that also makes yellow background, I hope I have understood well what you wrote ... in fact 362-02 highlights problems td sensor of cyano unit!, and sc 491 ground error etc., however, check well the small white connector of the cyano development unit that be inserted well inside, and that the plastic back cover of the pcu with the contacts is not deformed, damaged, mounted badly or even you forgot to put it, I hope I have been of help

I have had brand new out of box units do the same thing during setup. Known problem with Ricoh where the CPU ground is not proper and causes the drum to suck developer from the development unit. When it is an out of box failure, Ricoh will replace the entire PCDU. Even if you can fix the ground on the PCU, you will still have a problem the light prints and void area due to the development unit not having enough developer. If you can order just the developer, do so. Otherwise you may have order a Development Unit.
