(I successfully changed one by reverting the IP ( on the Ricoh) to the original static address) by this do you mean the assigned address we have it on now?

Stephen means to give the machine ANY static address you like and then change you laptop nic properties to be within range of the Ricoh to access the WIM.
Also...did you check that IEEE 802.1x for wireless is not enabled as many of us suggested?

            5801-11.. no print
yet it picks up its own ip address
no web access / 404 page not found
This may sound irrelevant but it it worked for me.
Check the network security level (administrator tools)
Set it to the lowest (Level 0)
            Try to access WIM
            Aye! Cut the crap

                Re: MPC3003 print issues

Accessing the WIM is part of our refurb process before taking to a client. In my experience, sounds like the same thing you have, I could not print or access the WIM.

It also "pulled" a DHCP ip address. I returned to the original static IP that was assigned to the Ricoh, and using a crossover cable connected directly to a laptop. Go into the manual settings for your network adapter on the laptop
and set it to the configuration on the Ricoh. This allows WIM access. Log on , configuation, security, and access control. The IPV4 should be 0.0.0.0 for the control range.

you have to enable network administration from admin authentication management then login so you can change it to level 0.
