ok.
this account ghosted on me when i drove an hour to service it and i made them wait till i had another call nearby.
I had a full color test print from service mode and saw no drop outs but stopped by another copier company where i get parts and showed it to
their shop guy a few techs doing shop work.
They didnt see anything in the test sheet till they put it under a bench lite that magnifies,like jewelers use.
and then i could see faint voids in yellow.
So I returned and yes there was some dev unit voids from clumps in dev unit.
I cleaned up and big pieces and good to go...

You mean a loupe? Congratulations on your success. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I never heard of a loupe before this...
maybe thrown for a loop...
I never thought of using something like that before as i had it in mind that it was a software issue
or some strange loose connections somewhere...

jewelers loupe.. small magnifier that sits in eye socket
when i was with richo dealer we had one 13-26x mag .. was 3" tall.. used it to fine tune/ adjust color grids

Luxo was the animate character.
FYI : Trivia
The Luxo short film by Pixar Studios was one of the very first full CGI animations using the cutting edge 3D Studio computer software with Kinematics. Of course 3D animation using "software" raytracing/lightshader rendering is now standard gaming "hardware" in many PC's these days.
Then you have the movies like Avatar with real time full CGI 3D rendering. Only those familiar with 3D graphics can truly appreciate the massive computer power required to render real time a movie like Avatar. I believe while making the movie the film crew blew up 3x $100K rendering computers, or was that during the making of Lord Of The Rings.
anyway... CGI 3D rendering is no surprise any more.Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...

I had a customer that was getting these voids. i fought with it for two days. come to find out, they had loaded a pcl5 driver. i loaded pcl6 and the void went away. still dont know what that was doing that. but customer was happyComment

I lucked into this Eisenbach. It came from a retired watchmaker and was well used. My friend bought a lot in an auction which included 3 or 4 of these.
The view is of a Canon iPF encoder strip. Here is an example of what you can see:

Somedays I feel like a dinosaur as I remember 30 years ago having accounts that did animation .
One had me make the machine not fuse the image on clear "plastic type sheets".
They would do any editing and clean up and then fuse the image with chemicals.
When put together with other sheets they would make a animated "movie"...
Sorta like the old days but using a copier,not printer as these were the Analog days..........Comment
