The PCU life on the 2xxx series is not great. You can swap say the yellow & black arround to help troubleshoot.

New PCU, pretty much normal.

These pcdu definitely don't make it to their life cycle a lot of times. Not sure why, have changed quite a few prematurely. I think the yield on the black is 60,000.

to see the black like that, I would think of the dirty laser glasses, but you wrote that you cleaned them, the back covers of the pcu that contain some very important contacts you have mounted? have you done a nice full music?
