What life are you seeing on mpc3003 and mpc4503 fuser units, fuser sleeves?

    hi.
As low meter lease returns become harder to get i am faced with higher count units.
I have a bunch of the 03s out there but none with more than 200k.
What are you seeing past 300k,
    drums,etc etc.
this is basically on normal application not heavy paper applications.
    thanks

Most Metis machines I see PCDU have gone over life & still OK.

Same here. The 03 series seems to get at least PM yield out of all the consumables, and some go well over.

Of course your mileage may vary, based on environmental conditions, duty cycle, aggressive operators, etc.

I would pay close attention to the Fusing Sleeve warning though.... Once it reaches it's limit, it WILL code on you, regardless of how well it's running or what it looks like.

Just went to a 04 yesterday 1.03 mill pages black,230k colour-nothing but feed rollers replaced.
        I replaced the K PCU & dev as I didn't want a recall-fusing sleeve looked fine!!!

Glad to hear that response from all.
all pm parts between the mpc3503 and mpc4503 are interchangeable?
          Maybe not the fuser unit?

As far as fuser units go... No, they're NOT interchangeable!!

The C3503 fuser works in the C2003 and C3003 as well. The C4503 Fuser is good for the C5503 and C6003.

The Pressure Roller is good all the way across the board, but the Fixing Film Sleeve unit is "Speed dependent".

              Thanks

i was thinking speed would dictate a difference , even if it was just on the fuser sleeve lamps or lamp rating

In The UK we use the same sleeve part number for the whole range maybe because we use 240v

The MPC2003/2503 use a totally different PCU this PCU is the same for all 4 colours.

We see drum and development units go WAY past there expected yield.
Fusers always go to yield and above.
Have rarely changed out an ITB belt or unit.
Transfer rollers go past a million.
Pretty damn good machines, once you get past the mangled hoppers/ mangled toner recycling sections/ squeaky optics.

at 1st I wasnt a fan of the redesigned ITB cleaning unit as i found the earlier series
pretty solid design. But I guess was done for a reason.
I will say the 3 and 4 tray paper decks are pretty cheaply constructed on the bottom frame.
It seems every one i get the 4th tray binds from the frame being pressed upward from rough
                    movers.
