You can try to boot the machine from an sd boot card P/N B6456090 using the procedure outlined in tech bulletin #091R. If that doesn't work you may be looking at an expensive controller board replacement.

Unrecoginized SD Card and FW UG

990 basically means you need a FW UG
Insert your SD card which MUST be in the bottom slot. I had the same issue same model. Make sure to move the FW from the SD card using a laptop. Formated the SD using FAT 32 (not a quick format) put FW back on the card and viola. if not you will get different SC Code relating to the machine not being able to read the SD card data or its format is unrecognized

how many copies has the drum? chek if you have a corona leak first,chek the symple before go deep

Yes also Did a PCU rebuild which included the corona wire and grid, but I was also having 220 codes ALL WAS CLEARED UP

The SC821 could be a controller memory problem - try changing that as well.

I would go with the drum theory replace if over its yield check corona unit for arching and if you are using compatible drum use original and check that your charge,grid,dev and transfer bias is not out of spec.The AF 2035 had similar issues all the solutions in the manual for the code did not work field techs were pushing yield on the drums not advised.good luck!!!!
