    Sp8300DN

Anybody servicing these printers? I was just wondering how they are holding up, as in any major issues.

It's the printer version of the MP5002. Solid box. No major problems. Runs dirty like all in this series.

Just use the maintenance kits, much quicker.

got a customer who has one of these machines. has over 1.2 million on counter. every 300k i have replaced the 300k main. kit. still runs like a champ. odd thing myself and another tech realized is we have never replaced the paper feed rollers in any of the paper trays. and yet have never had a paper feed issue. only problem i have had with it is one time a piece of paper got jammed up on the backside of the bottom paper tray. boy was that a chore to get out. but once i got the paper out it took off and was working good again. of course now i have probably jinxed myself darn it. lol

Yeah, those feed tires are on borrowed time, will probably fail today.
The Sp8300DN is a good machine.

A local grocery chain we service has them and uses them for shelf signs of different sizes and paper types, generally not to many issues. Replace the PM kits as needed.
