Ricoh mp301 print from memory device.

start to look at some of my mp301 that i buy from off lease and when i try print from memory device not able. i press printer button but doesn't have the option to select [Prt. From Dev] tab. I look through user tools print feature and also service mode but didn't see where it might be turn off.

what 'memory device' are you using?

I haven't update firmware but i thought this was standard feature on this model. i look at another mp301 and that one has the tab to print from a memory device.

Firmware can become corrupt... outdated firmware could be an issue..
What versions do you have on both?
Post config sheets for both working and not please

1: You need the HDD option
2: you need to make sure it's enabled in Printer SP mode

3: you need to understand that fairly routine issues like this have most likely been covered countless times in the forum and that you should AT LEAST try to find a solution for yourself.

......Coincidentally there's a similar situation right here: MP C300 print from usb drive

and here: MP 2001SP scan to usb and print from usb problem

and here:mp 2501 not printing from memory stick

From the installation procedures for USB2.0/SD Slot, set Scan SP 1013-1 from 0 to 1 to enable the port.
