Re: Mpc4502 no toner magenta
Damaged contacts on the toner bottle detection board or the back end of the bottle. Usually caused by the user slamming the bottle in rather than sliding it in gently. Could also be a bad chip on the bottle.Comment

Re: Mpc4502 no toner magenta
is it called a tube or a hose???????????
I pull them out and the spring loaded piece and shoot air outside and as long as they are not torn or hard resuse them.,
I hate swapping the danm yellow one as my fat hands dont fit and getting the danm connector back on always gives me
fits..
I keep meaning to make a jig but never the free time...Comment

Re: Mpc4502 no toner magenta
Most Ricoh use a non contact RFID system for the toner chips. For some reason they decided to use a contract system with this model. Highly susceptible to contact damage.Comment

Re: Mpc4502 no toner magenta
this will happen because machine is now confused somehow on which toner is installed or something . perhaps the chip gets damaged? I've seen it but machine will continue to work until btl is empty just as beforeComment

Re: Mpc4502 no toner magenta
Maybe the hose has been squeezed by the transfer unit assembly after installation. There were so many holes on the back frame of the machine that techs sometimes mess up routing the hose to.Aye! Cut the crapComment
