[Error Code] Ricoh pro906ex SC990 code

My machine has error code SC990.
Can anyone help me to fix this?

Procedure 1 : there is no HHD replaced

Procedure 2 : executed SP5990 004 : blanc page came out... and a new service code appeared : SC 996

Code SC996 appeared already before SC990,
as instructed in the manual I replaced the polygon mirror motor but with no result. After that SC 990 appeared.
After replacing the motor the code changed from SC996 to SC990.

If you do not know how to do that , you should not be trying to work on production printers.

Hi Mate,
SC990 can mean many things. There's usually a line of data that accompanies it.
For example if has some like SC900 : ProCon xxx, It could mean there is a problem with Devices process control and may need a PM service done.

SC990 is a software performance error.

A little more history of what happened before the error could be helpful. As an example, if the HDD was replaced but the stamp data was not downloaded to the new HDD you will get this error. Other than that you need to call the Ricoh regional desk. Be sure to have the information as to Function, Line and Value associated with the error code.

I called in a technician. He has reinstalled the firmware and replaced the drum.
According to him, the LD (B2341895) is defective. (SC240 + SC966).
Price: $ 950. Because I don't have the money for that, I have to find another solution.
I'm thinking of a second-hand LD.
Can anyone help me with this?
