Ricoh 8100s Fuser Web consumption issue

    Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem.
I have a Ricoh 8100s that keeps using up a full fuser cleaning web in less than 30,000 impressions. I've made several adjustments to the web motor settings (SP 1902-002 & -003) to match the variations among my other machines, but that doesn't seem to make any difference. It's as if the web is constantly turning. Are there other setting I should be adjusting, or could there be something physically wrong with the motor?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Is the web supply roller pressure plate correctly installed?

It is. I just double-checked it now.
I've even tried using the cleaning unit from another machine to test if there was an issue with the cleaning unit, itself, but the problem continues. That's what made me wonder if it was a motor issue, or a settings issue I overlooked.

If the motor fails it doesn't run at all. Could be what ever board that drives the motor.

That's a good point! I hadn't considered the board. I'll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Also, check for a wire (to the motor) shorting/pinched/worn and touching a metal frame or bracket. This is something we have found on in the past.
