    you dont need a fuse.
    you can make a reset jig using wire,a microswitch and connector from a thermistor mp5500.
    But if you did not put unit together right then that needs to be checked/fixxed....

        i hear you.
        Maybe in some parts of the world access to parts are limited/expensive?
        I rather make a jig from scrap parts machines than pay $30 for a fuse that cost 30 cents to make.
        Not everyone is equipped to rebuild a fuser unit,and maybe he is over his head here...THE fact
        that it coded out AFTER he rebuilt it is a major red flag.....

          I am completely with you on the parts cost - here in South Africa Ricoh gives us a real hiding on parts pricing.

          My concern was the round and round theme on this thread, and the ability of the OP when adding DIY to the (seeming) already complicated situation.
