    MPC2004 SC 547-03

    Hi all

Have SC 547-03. Have replaced AC control board and power supply board as per the service manual, have reset the sc code in so mode, have also replaced the fuser and did the fuser sc reset but still no luck.

Machine is located in a porta com that runs off a generator that turns off at night and they told me they don't turn the machine off before they leave at night. Do you think it could be a machine problem or a power issue with the portacom? Thanks

Frequency instability of the input power line.

Any type of power fluctuations will make the machine throw a code. Your customer should be powering the machine off before they shut down the generator.

Main power supply frequency is determined to be 44 Hz or lower.
This would happen when they turn the generator engine off without isolating the feed first
as the engine winds down the power frequency drops rapidly while some
power is still produced until complete stand still

Not a good idea to run any copier of a generator

Error codes starting with 5 usually are fusing problems but if you replaced all fusing unit check High voltage board.
Also (i know it is allmost impossible at a bizhub machine had an fusing error caused because an elbow that holds the right cover removed. When right cover closed that elbow pressed a button . When removed error appeared|)

              Hi there!
1+ for the ac-supply. Had a customer with a brand new IMC, allways fuser sc-codes. Fuser on warranty - NG, give them another machine (from showroom) for testing - NG.
Original customer machine tested in the workshop -OK. End of the song: the ac-outlet was defective!
              Greetings...
