Should be a 3 digit code. press the "." key to display the last 2 numbers. However all "1xx" codes are related to scanner: Either the Lamp is blown, but more often it is a home position sensor out of position, or lens stuck (often after cover has been removed for optics cleaning etc.

codes (E1 to E7) are displayed in the copy counter. To display
both digits of the E-code, press the Enter key.
        Example:
When the machine detects the E11 condition, E1 is displayed in
the copy counter. Hold down the Enter key, and "11" is displayed
        in the copy counter.
        b) When service call (E5) conditions occur, they cannot be cleared
by turning off/on the main switch, for safety reasons. The following
procedure must be performed to clear these service call
        conditions:
        1. Turn on the main switch.
        2. Turn DIP switch 101-1 on and off.
        3. Turn the main switch off and on.
