So the machine is now fixed? And the problem was the toner supply tube not secured to the pump? And it took 3 pages of advice and 2 weeks to figure that one out? Attention to detail, Dude.

OK, you have a point there.
But, as i said before, i never had a pump broken, not since c2800.
As you will understand, it was the least of my thougts therefore.
And indeed, ... the pump was not broken, the tube had came off the pump!
That is not very common, is it?
Why it came off wil always be a mysterie, i guess.
But i should have looked at it earlier, that's a fact, you are wright!

bottom line you gotta it running and i think all of us are not on our game between
COVID/WEARING MASK AND IN USA THE PROTESTERS..
Those hoses i sometime cut the end and reattach as the toner weakens the rubber..
They usually have an extra inch or two..ck 1st
