what software are you printing from? are the envelope settings set correctly in the software?

Have you tried setting the document up as envelope in word and not as plain document ie page setup

Here is a final solution to this issue for a future reference:

If envelopes are not printing correctly in Ricoh MP C5000

• Use correct Driver: RICOH Aficio MP C5000 PCL 6
• Set Paper size to Com 10 Env. in Paper Size Settings
• Put envelope in correct orientation as shown above

that is LEF like you stated in your OP.. have you been trying SEF all this time? and WHY ? it called for LEF. now you have to work on the border spacing see how it prints return slightly off the edge.

Actually with my other printers that I've used in the past I was using SEF so I figured that would be the case and part of me was fearful from something getting stuck in the copier.
