    Hmm, seem I chose wrong horse in this race. Afaik Konica don't have such a tool, pitty.
    On a side note, did you happen to have enough time and use the script. It really does all you need in a blink.
    All extrawork you need is to put the share folder path and user in address book.

        At the time I don't think I understood how to set it up. I'll go back and figure it out. The Kyocera Scan Tool does everything but fill in the user password.

                    Well took time to download Scan to SMB tools from Ricoh and Kyo. All looks great but of course won't work with other devices. Simply can't find KonMin and Brother devices. Guess different web GUIs and shells. Not a big deal...but sometimes tools can save time.

                        By the way....

                        As far as the original question about not being about to scan using Widows Pro Edition.....

                        Recently I downloaded both Home and Pro Edition on a virtual machine and by default both are set to "public" network. That won't work for SMB. Make sure it's set to "Private" Network. It may not be the problem but it's a good place to start.

                            yes this feature is pretty easy and straight forward to use. makes scanning setup for customers so much easier.
