First....how is it that you say 'all seems fine' when the machine doesn't work at all

so if your brain is that feeble how can you rely on it to pull the proper information out of the depths?
We see all these posts from you when the info is CLEARLY (most times) in the manual. Are you that afraid to look it up in the manual?Comment

I had an SC204 caused by a loose ground wire in the transfer section on an old BW Ricoh, took a long time to figure out that problem.Comment

This code can also be caused by something really sneaky. At the bottom of the paper transfer unit there's a bar with two wedges on the end that stop the unit moving too far forward, allowing you to close the side door without having to push the unit back manually. Either side of this bar there is a spring. Check to see they haven't been dislodged.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment
