try to run force toner, then check the toner entrance of DV unit to see any new toner trace were added there.

Also check that the mag roller drive gears aren't minced, favourite on these.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

Hey Ash. I bet it's just the tonner hopper. It'll get to where it won't feed the toner thru. Mylars get worn out. Just replace it, tone it up and I bet it works.

the hopper is actually droppin toner into the pcu. cuz the hole is full of toner.

If the hole's full of toner that means either the PCU isn't being driven correctly, the TD sensor is faulty or the PCU shutter is faulty. Pinch a PCU from another machine and see if it works.

I put my money on the development drive gears. Looks like the toner is not properly fed in the developement unit. I would replace the 2 gears and add new developer.

In this case I'd seconded Eric's statement

It can be a simple thing, did you check if the front door slide actuator that works with the microswitch is not stuck, this switch tells the machine that the front door has been open, when changing the toner bottle.

If the dev is full of toner, probably the mixers arent turning. They are driven by the 2 gears on the mag roll. The developer tears those gears up. If the gears in the dev section (3) are torn up dont replace them, replace the whole section.
