Re: ricoh 1022 white stripes
It could be the charge roller, drum or developer. Most likely the developer. it has possibly been running under toned for quite some time and has started pulling developer out of the development unit. Buy a new bag of Genuine Ricoh developer and replace. If you are use after market supplies, you are wasting money. -

But I agree is probably needs a new unit. That's where I'd start.
It would be nice if the user had done something/ anything to resolve the issue before postingComment

Re: ricoh 1022 white stripes
ok guys !, this is weird ,this problem has been for quite some time , now i was going to order a bag of developer as slimslob advised , but it ocurred me for the first time to print the counter , and this happened:
Counter directly from machine:

A copy of the counter:
IMG_20201128_170127 (n copy).jpg
A copy of the counter at max density:

as you can see , the triangle is fine if i print directly from the machineComment

Re: ricoh 1022 white stripes
You're wasting your money by just swapping the dev in this machine, and it "technically" isn't available anyway, because, as I said, this machine takes a complete photoconductor unit (which includes the dev)Comment

Re: ricoh 1022 white stripes
You obviously don't want to spend the money to have a tech on site to assess the issue, so my suggestion from thousands of Km's away is unchanged.....

Re: ricoh 1022 white stripes
I think Precission Roller is where we used to get rebuild kits from. Did not include the developer but the instruction sheet gave you the Ricoh developer to use and provided a bottle to measure the proper amount. If I remember two bags of developer did three PCU. My boss tried some from another source one time, lower cost ha ha. The blades were too soft and failed in less than 2 weeks.Comment

Re: ricoh 1022 white stripes
ok thanks for the inputs ,i wish i had a tech nearby, but where i live(small town) i have to manage to fix the unit on my own . i'll check for a pcu but all the ones i could find at the moment costs more or less 100u$s , and comparing that price from precisionrolling site at 240 i dont think are very trusty .Comment
