The only thing that comes to mind is PCU over the limite, this causes the transfer roller to get dirty, nothing more to add.

I have a 3350 doing the same thing, after a couple drum and dev changes without results, I noticed the charge bias was more positive than default, changed it to default and problem went away. Don't know yet if its a permanent fix yet tho.

Check the transfer roller bushings as well, they can split and lead to copy quality issues like this.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.
