Lanier 5622 lines on print and copies

I'm having trouble finding out whats causing white lines appearing from a .

The example is a sky shot, but there are the same lines on prints as well. (The paper is being fed long edge first)

The lines are appear during image forming, I have stopped a copy halfway into the fuser.

I have swapped out the PCU without success, thinking there maybe a build up of something on the charge roller.

I'm tempted to think it may be the laser unit but the machine isn't offering a SC code at all.

I performed a sky shot reduction (A4 to A5) but I cant discern whether the lines have reduced or not.

Could a faulty transfer unit cause this?

    Any Ideas?

Based on your example I would definitely replace the transfer roller. It gets full of paper dust and causes this problem. It will leave black dots in white areas.
