Also keep in mind that they need to be on the same subnet, so if the phone is on a 192.168.1.x subnet and the copier is wired in on a 192.168.2.x subnet, Airprint will not work even if those 2 subnets can communicate. I see it fairly often where the wireless has a different subnet than their wired connection. In that case I usually just recommend the Smart Device connector app.

But he did mention the "Ricoh Smart Device Connector" app which is only applicable to the SOP with the C3003.

No, I used this to print to my home MP C305.

You can print to any Ricoh with this app via IP.

IPP turned off will also cause AirPrint not to work.

But the QR code the original poster asked about only exists with the SOP.

And if there is no SOP? There is no QR code. He was asking about the QR code, where or how to find or print it.
Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
The MP C3003 supports AirPrint. If it is properly enabled an iPhone does not need Ricoh's app to find it. It only needs to be connected to the same network. https://support.ricoh.com/bb_v1oi/pu...1/D1767624.pdf

Again, i can't upload pictures on Copytechnet (yesterday it worked).
On my c3003, usertools, admin tools, ... the certificate is displayed.
But we can't make contact to it via our iphone.
It is asking for IP address (ok), sharename, domainname (workgroup), log in (from router?).
                          But...
In fact we just wanted to practice on this c3003 before we went to client with a imc2000 (to install it there).
But i think on a imc2000 it is much easier?

try upload picture again. I have now a Flickr account, copy paste it. And it seems to work. This picture is showing the certificate in user tools, administrator files, certificates... It has accepted it, but ...

Remember Airprint is not guaranteed to work in all network environments.

I had one I spent all morning on couldn't get it to work. However plugging the 3003 into a spare router I had it worked fine.

I believe its all to do with how large the network is, what hubs & switches the 3003 goes through before/after the router.

All you really need to do is connect to the wireless portion of your network. If AirPrint is not disabled on the C3003, then AirPrint on your iPhone should find it without the Ricoh app. See the links I have already posted.
