    MPC8002 2nd drawer riser motor

Im wondering if there is another issue that acts like the riser motor?
as you may know the paper riser mototr on these models is not an easy peesy change out
so is there another symptom that acts like the riser motor is out but is really something else ?
error said" too much paper in paper drawer" i check the float sensor, its free and floating, but as observing the drawer itself when shut it does not raise, not a bit, then the error msg sc 502-01 paper drawer error
thanks if there is another symptom that causes this .... if not well i have the mototrs and should just change both while im in there....right? right!

As of when I retired there were already 12 tech bulletins that dealt with those and other problems with the right tandem tray. Most of them were MCO's, modification change orders. You may need to checked which ones haven't been applied and apply them.

Are the feed heads swappable between trays 2 and 3? Might be an idea to try.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

Paper height sensor actuator missing may be. Paper behind cassette, left motor try from cassette 3 as same. Feed assy try from cassette 3

            Problem Solved!
After and extensive inspection and cleaning , the problem was the connector for the second drawer on the side of the machine by the side door on the right access was slightly lose and not plugged in all the way!! ?? i gues if they had a paper jam and pulled the paper out through here and may have slightly yanked on the harness? i dont know, all i can say is Im glad it really wasnt the paper riser motor!!!!!!! dodged a bullet!
i re set the harness, re booted the machine and vhalah!
            thanks for all the suggestions
