Slow print & slow web is typically a HDD on its way out. A format may bring new life back into it for a few weeks but the sluggishness will return.
If I remember correctly, the HDD can be disabled and printing still works. But some print features are disabled too.
      thanks
Never thought of the HDD as no HDD appear on SC history.
If I print from the control panel usb port does that have any connection to the HDD?
I am going to bring thumb drive and my small laptop and 5 port switch to run from..

SO I called account and find out their internet has been having issues and now is out.
Told them to have the tech do a speed test on site and see if they are getting what they are paying for..

I remembered now, about "WIM seems slow", it happened to me some time ago, I don't remember what model, but I changed the disk, and everything is ok ... however there is a fault even on the PCs this generates, they become very slow, then go there, you run ghost on a new hdd, and everything shines again

Internet speed is not a concern when they are printing on the network ( as long as wifi signals are not dropping and the file is already downloaded / stored locally on their computer) as the connection is local and you are not reaching out. Have you tried printing a variety of pdf files? PDF slow printing always tricky as it is never the same solution. Is the file you are printing from something like auto cad? Does the machine have postscript? What is the default language of the machine?

The best trick I found is whenever I send the print command I always have the " see what is printing " box open. That shows me if the computer has sent the entire file or is spooling the job and sending it page by page. When some of the settings are not ideal, 10 pages can be like 50MB.
If it works, don't touch it.

Are the PDF's actual documents or scanned PDF's? I've seen issues with printing scanner generated PDF files going all the way back to the 5627 (1027) series.

If the customer has full Acrobat, have them try saving the file as a reduced size PDF. If not, try printing it to the built-in PDF printer in Windows and then print the file it outputs.

Also try changing the printer port to LPR mode instead of RAW with the queue name lp.

At first they were printing small PDF files from email.
I downloaded that file and then opened it in file location and still slow, size was 1 to 3 meg.
Did page 1 and then waited for pages 2 to 5.
I am awaiting their internet is back working to revisit..
