Ricoh 4502 funny buzzing noise from rear of machine.

Jiust bought a second hand 4502. It is making a funny noice. Only seems to occur when machine is awake. Please see attached video.

The noise is not coming from the fan where the filter is.

It come from the vent slightly to the bottom right.

Oh good, you figured it out. Take the covers off, find the noise and fix it.

And that vent would not be there unless there is a fan associated with it.

Not a very inquisitive tech is he?

hell I was dis-assembling our new home intercom system @ 8yrs old... got eveyone working JUST after Dad got home... I was soldering the speaker wire back in place.. he blew a fuse until I showed him they ALL worked ( I had tagged them with what I thought was the prob )

We had grilled burgers W/ BACON for dinner!

it would seem the puddle motor of the development unit, but to be sure you have to go to sp "output check", in case that is, you can open it and grease it.
in case you think he is a fan, try to punch him well, in that area and see if the noise changes
