Yes there is.
The increase in the toner add rate will decrease the amount added, and lowering the number will increase the amount of toner added. This is a little "glitch" Ricoh has used with their machines for years, where the number is reversed from what you'd expect it to be.

My first question would be is how does an internal print out look? I have seen where the prints look good but the copies are very faded. It turned out to be that the customer inadvertantly set the default program to a photo mode, adjusted to the light side. I actually performed a premature PM and still had the problem, Thats when I caught it.

after market
i have also had light copies after a pm and or dev replacement customer was not using ricoh toner sorry but i will go with ricoh toner any time i have cq issues.anyway switched to ricoh brand no more cq issues.have also had add toner errors even when bottle not empty once again non ricoh brand toner being used.Comment
