Is there a way to manually adjust the toner add cycle to make copies darker

    Yes there is.

The increase in the toner add rate will decrease the amount added, and lowering the number will increase the amount of toner added. This is a little "glitch" Ricoh has used with their machines for years, where the number is reversed from what you'd expect it to be.

    It's in the 2's.

My first question would be is how does an internal print out look? I have seen where the prints look good but the copies are very faded. It turned out to be that the customer inadvertantly set the default program to a photo mode, adjusted to the light side. I actually performed a premature PM and still had the problem, Thats when I caught it.
      Good Luck!

Nodle, and I keep assuming that the basics have been done.

Could also be a wrong Charge Roller voltage. When the Charge Roller has recently been replaced, the voltage should be adjusted (SP2-001-001).

Is the laser scanning glass clean? ID-sensor clean and working correct?
