Sounds like they pressed the "Sample Copy" key and then waited too long to press continue.

I had a c5502 do this to us,only in K not in color, i changed the PCU, Fuser, ITB....went away and came back after like two months, i ended up changing out the machine...
is POWER a culprit? this c4504 replaced a c5502 that had NO ISSUES, so client is not happy,,,neither am i..

I think there is a bulletin that covers the K development unit splotching toner right down the middle of the prints. I know that's not double imaging, but it's all I can think of at the moment.

Can't rule out a faulty (early failure) fusing sleeve.

early part failure at like 70k? for a fuser sleeve thats supposed to go at least 150? probably the issue....

D2424041 is what is shown in the Product Support Guide for North America. Based on the Parts Catalog I have for the slower models the 42 might be the 220/240 volt model for most of the rest of the world.

The sleeve assy is 400k if oem complete assy not just fit sleeve film on it own Ie compatible that could cause double image as well as rubbish toner

its oem as far as i can tell, i ordered oem sleeve and lower roller always replace these together,
toner is oem, i just can see failure at 60k-70k impressions,,, but who knows..
