mpc6004 copies coming out upside down

When the client prints, okay, copy on glass, okay , use doc feeder in landscape all good, but , in portrait the copies come out facing the wrong way, in other words , when you pick the up out of the tray there the wrong direction, no readable direction, but upside down, the client has to turn them to read them, this is petty, but ive never had this problem, i looked at all the settings, nothing is abnormal, is there something in service mode or web access that would cause this to be default setting???
    weird ,,,
    thanks for any help

I believe there is a setting in user tools called "letterhead setting." Probably it is in copier features.
That can force the copies to come out the same way as the originals.

Landscape and Portrait apply to how you hang a picture on the wall. Feed direction for a copier should be specified as either SEF, Short Edge Feed, or LEF, Long Edge Feed. For SEF documents being fed into the the doc feeder, how they come out in the exit tray depends on whether the top or bottom of the original is the lead edge going into the DF.

Now when they are feeding SEF have they tried feeding the other end as the lead edge?

If I'm understanding correctly, then I believe that coincidentally the answer is sort of in your description of the issue. The "readable Direction" setting?
On classic screen it's at bottom left under "original orientation".
Change the setting, and set it to default.
On the "copy" app it's under "other settings"
(Images not from same machine, but similar)

this means the document in the doc feeder is up side down...

                        Solved
the letter head setting-in copier/doc server user tools /input/output was off, i have never had to turn this on...in tha past.
set it to ON and the output is what is usual in making copies not , reverse
ex: Text is readable when you turn the copies over aftrer they exit thew machine , not "up side down" meaning you have to rotate the document to read after it comes out of the machine
Thank yo all and good day!!

I don't know if I understand the problem correctly, however:

                          1) via sp check the correct functioning of the original sensors on the rdf, and clean them with air

                          2) open and close the shoulder pad on the rdf tray a few times, sometimes the potentiometer connected to it gets dirty and does not detect the correct position of the shoulder pad
