    MP C4504 double imaging

these people run Large envelopes in the by pass, I have it set to middle thick, but two weeks go by and it does it again, I have replaced the fuser, and bumper the "middle thick" up 2-3 degrees, its goes away, and then comes back
this machine only has 40k total on it, could the blk drum unit be causing this?somehow?
when i use thick 1 or 2 it does it constantly.. any help with this thanks
    second problem
scanned dox come in upside down, the c5502 we replaced didnt have this issue
    Thankls

I set the by pass to thick one and set the thick one fuser temp up 5 degrees, it seems to be the magic bullet
    stay tuned
these envelopes are 10x14 and at about 28-30 pound or heavier

obviously put the bypass paper setting, on "envelopes", then, go to the driver setting, and set the "quality settings" item, and there, change the setting, from "speed, to quality", the machine will print more slowly , but ... it will work 100% ... guaranteed at olive oil! ... LOL

hopefully these envelopes are the glue only type and not the wrap string or metal clasp type.

you say, that they are so "strange" that when they pass between PTR, and ITB, they have a kind of slowing down because of the protrusions, which knocks the image out of register? it could be.

the machine is printing these slower now, on thick 1 as opposed to middle thick, there just flap style paper envelopes,
i have no calls from the client so far today, so this may have resolved the issue

yes, but since ive set the bypass tray to the correct thick 1 and raised the temp on this thick 1 up just a few degrees its seems to have worked, i also rebuilt the fuser, before i got into the thickness issue

even regular envelope have this issue it matter of finding the right temp setting to fix problem. They have special envelopes and customer just think they can click and print and copier will do the rest. Then they call you not fusing and now you have to do there job and figure what setting works in print driver to select the media type to fuse properly.
