    Ricoh MP2352 Twain driver

Hi, 1 of my clients are looking to purchase a second hand MP2352 from me. Problem is that they use an application called stordoc which requires documents to be scanned into the application via TWAIN scanning.

I haven't installed the machine as yet and was wondering if anyone has knowledge on TWAIN scanning through applications in windows 10 64bit systems.

Also the Ricoh website says that the twain software is 32bit and it will work with 64bit windows systems but not 64 bit programs.

are you sure that stordoc also doesn't work at 32bit?

      According to Asprise
"TWAIN Working Group provides both 32bit and 64bit data source managers (DSM). By default, Windows OS (from XP to Window 10) ships only the 32bit DSM dll. A naive solution will be copying over the 64bit DSM dll and link 64bit applications to it. However, it won't work.

Why? The majority of the scanner device vendors (HP, Fujitsu, Canon, etc) provide 32bit TWAIN drivers only - thus most scanners will not be accessible in 64bit DSM." 64bit OS TWAIN Scanner for 64bit Applications Asprise Java Scanning and Imaging SDK for Java applets, web applications, Swing/JavaFX components, JEE enterprise applications - an API library scan images into files or memory from scanners on Windows and Mac OS X

This model is supported by the application judging from an online search. Have you tried using the WIA driver with the software? I've had luck in the past using that instead of TWAIN with other applications.
