Ive cleaned all the sensors in the fuser, and the exchange exit gate just outside the fuser .... there was nothing , i was running some test pages all good then a jam and now it wont clear
im thinking the exit gate sensor or fuser entrance sensor went bad?

If you are getting jam code 17, then it is the fusing sleeve. You can run the input checks to test sensors.

J001 is a jam found when the power is turned or the last door is closed, Check the jam history. J001 is not recorded in the history as it is not a true jam. The last recorded jam will tell you where the last jam was and that would be where there might be a bad sensor or a scrap of paper. Also check Input Checks to see if there is a door that is shown as open even though it appears closed.

Okay, i ended up using a half a can of Spray air, blew out all the sensors, even though they were all working according to 5-803 but i think what cleared it is the kinda tunnel the first registration sensor looks through in B at the bottom where the paper first enters the B section, Not really sure,i sprayed into that with air as well, and there was toner all over the back inside of the paper drawers one and two, i had a big toner mess in the back on the right side from a PCDU leak, but it was cleaned up and the machine was running when this C jam occurred.so its cleared .
thank you for all the help.
