    C4502 jammed in c , no paper anywhere

    ill be out tomorrow on this but i had the client clear the fuser,open all drawers, access points etc, they did remove paper from D area, but machine still shows jam in C.
    ive had the client power down the machine and un plug it for 30 mins, but i have a feeling this is a sensor in the c path? anyone have this happen ? so i can streamline my diagnosis?

      If it is a trail edge jam in C, the paper could very easily be in D. That is what the numeric codes are for. Is it a J020 or J024 which are the lead edge of the paper late in arriving at sensor. It could also be J060 or J064 which is the timing of the trail edge being either early or late.

          Come on digicor, you've got over 900 previous post, you should know you've got to tell the jam code. Ask the customer for it when you have them on the phone.

                      as suspected joo1 ... can u guess? and i asked the client to check in all cavities.....hmmm
                      whats that? the part opens? lol...
                      paper in section D where it enters the trans port ...
                      all good though i sold the doctor a machine for his house office....Bwahahahahaha
                      thank guys and gals
                      i did have a 5501 have this happen and we changed everything form the door to the harness... etc had to replace the machine...
                      thank goodness it was just a USER ERROR....lol
