Ricoh MP C4000 "No Cyan Toner" even after replacing toner pump (Re-post)

***Re-post since original was lost on old forum***
Hello Gentlemen, Working with a Ricoh MP C4000. Originally had an issue where it would say "No Cyan Toner". When you add a new toner, it still says "no toner". I went ahead and replaced the cyan toner pump and it fixed it for about a week and now it's back. As discussed before, the toner pump did not come with a new tube so I installed to the original toner tube.

I've checked the tube for clogs but did not see or feel any short of removing it and blowing it out with compressed air.

Is it possible to just buy the tube? could this be replaced with similar fish-tank airtight tubing? They look very similar in diameter and thickness..

Are you using Ricoh OEM Toner?, Your cyan pump came without a tube? Is that an OEM pump (and not rebuilt)? If not a new OEM...there's your problem

NO. The tubing used has a Teflon type coating on the inside to help prevent clogging.
What you can try is change SP 3045 to 1. That will prevent the RFID system from reporting toner end. Toner will still be detected by the Toner End sensor on the toner nozzle for each color. If you still get a No Cyan Toner message either the toner end sensor is defective or the toner nozzle is clogged.

Using all OEM toner. The part is not rebuilt, its a new non-OEM unit. Did not come with a tube...

Is it possible to buy just the tubing? Can't seem to find a part number.

So when changing SP 3045 to 1, the "no toner" goes away. I executed a forced toner supply on cyan and it does not seem like the cyan density is suffering. Does this narrow it down to the tube being clogged?

Years ago yes. But too many techs were only replacing the pump and still having problems. If you order the pump from Ricoh you should get the pump with the proper length tube attached. That is why in the parts catalog all four pumps have different part numbers. The ASS'Y? is short for Assembly.
If you are real quick eBay shows only 1 left in stock.

Maybe value at SP3-221 too high for cyan. Try initialize TD for cyan and check the value again.

In the time when the site was migrating we found out that the pump was an aftermarket pump thus no tubing. the posts were lost.
