Help ! No duplex option in Ricoh MP 2014AD 247-27

What manual are you looking at, the service manual? You need to be looking at the Operating Instruction Manual. I just downloaded it and Duplex/Combine starts on page 139 and continues on page 140. The next option below the 3 that are showing in your picture is 2S->1S(NoComb) which is Duplex you have to press the DOWN Scroll arrow until it is highlighted. FYI, the SCROLL ARROWS are just to your right of the display. You can see the LEFT Arrow in your picture.

i have read that and i cant find the option
i keep scrolling and i only have the 3 options
there is no "the other options" as per the manual
thats why i think the wrong firmware is flashed on my machine

i know how to manipulate a machine and scrool through a menu and use the software
my problem is plain and simple
there is no way to make the mchine print in duplex not from the mchaine trough copying someting twosided nor printing through pc
i guess its a Firmware issue
does someone has the correct MP 2014AD firmware, treating the issue as if i cant manipulate a machine is not helping

they are rubbish here in Algeria
thats why Ricoh in Algeria is doing no good ( Lack of technicians and rarely you see printshops using ricoh machines)
because the dealer here always trying to sell you stuff rather helping you with what you got and especially no parts only whole machines most of the time

If you think the problem is the firmware, do this:
go to google and write "ricoh firmware update tool" download it, open it, and it will download and install the most recent firmware for that model.

aaah!!!...bad new!...I didn't know this, we haven't given any away about that model yet.

well, let's change strategy, try taking a look at this RTB, it could be that whoever had it before you did some shit, replaced cards, reset... or something else, and didn't insert the right model in the sp (5-882-001), come on keep an eye here, and let us know.

Thank you very much that did the trick
apparently it was exactly what you said someone messed with the eprom (model type and the serial number)
i inserted them manually according the smc document and everything worked like a charm
