    Aficio MP C3002 - part number

    Looked at the parts manuals and can not find the part number for the Controller for a MP C3002. It list everything else but can not find this part number.

    Customer had a electrical storm and I think it took out the controller. Error 672.

              Try looking for something labeled PCB, Service Assembly in the U033 Controller section of the parts catalog. There are 2 of them. one is for the C3002 and he other is for the C3502.

                          See if it accepts a firmware update, if it does then the controller is OK.

                              Leave the HDD unplugged and once you're at it, unplug faxoption, too (in case there is one) and re-seat the RAM module and see if it comes up.
