    Ricoh pro C5200 error SC556

    Ricoh Pro C5200S error SC555

    Hi Guys, any help appreciated
    Error SC555 intermittently but very often. pressure roller thermopile has been changed , errors now and than.
    same fuser installed into another C5200 been working fine, but fuser unit has been replaced from working C5200 and error still coming up SC555, latest firmware, power sourcechecked direct plugged to wall outlet.

    any ideas or help please.

    firmware? checked all connections? adjusted fuser temp.?

      Thanks for reply @ firware up-to-date, checked all connectors cleaned work for day and SC555 again.

      Will check fuser temp when you say adj take temp up or down ?

        Check the continuity of the pressure roller circuit of the fusing unit/ See Point-to-point page 3 14FG. One thing I have encountered in the past concerning SC555 that is not mentioned in the service manual. Heater Continuously On (Sensor 4: Thermopile:
        Pressure Roller Center). It can be caused by an open pressure roller thermostat/thermofuse or lamp. During warmup enough heat is transferred to the pressure roller for it to reach standby temperature. During a copy/print run the pressure roller temperature declines until it errors.
