Resetting the counter is covered in the service manual. If you do not have one there is a forum for requesting one.
As for the dirty copies it is most likely contaminated developer. If you have been using after market toner, it is most likely the cause. You need to clean out all toner residue from the PCDU and install new Ricoh toner, drum, developer, cleaning blade, charge roller and charge cleaning roller. Worse case you may need to replace the Development Unit. -
